Introduction
to The Pluralist Symposium on Ralph D. Ellis's
"Spiritual Partnership and the Affirmation of the Value of Being"
Joe Frank Jones, III, Barton

It is a pleasure to bring Ralph
Ellis's work to The Pluralist's readership. This symposium is
a good fit with this journal, as it involves thinkers interested in exploring
two personalist hypotheses: that it is the personal dimension of our being
and living that is definitive of our humanity, and that the personal dimension
of being human offers a clue to the ordering of reality.
